Safety and terms
Hexdown is played with real moves in a real room. Play it safely, and have fun.
Play safely
- Keep about 2 m clear around each wizard: no people, pets, furniture, lamps or glass within reach.
- Grip the bottom half of the phone with your fingers wrapped behind it. A wrist strap helps.
- Move like a wizard: clear and flowing, never violent. The game never rewards speed or force, and a violent swing earns a warning and a weaker spell.
- Watch your rival, not the screen, and keep an eye on the room.
- Children play with an adult nearby.
- Stop if anything hurts, and take a break when you’re tired.
Terms
- Hexdown is free to download and play, for your own fun: at home, at school or at a party.
- You are responsible for playing safely, and for the space and the phones you play with.
- Hexdown is provided as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for injury, damage to phones or property, or other loss that comes from using it. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that can’t be limited.
- Play fair: don’t modify the app or interfere with other players’ phones.
- These terms can change with new versions of the app, and this page always shows the current ones. The privacy page says what Hexdown does with your data: nothing.
